«Why is it so difficult to make good decisions?»
With this simple question, Roman Tschäppeler, from Switzerland, and Mikael Krogerus, from Finland, who met at the Danish creative school «The Kaospilots», began their journey into the world of decision making.
The result is the international bestseller "50 Erfolgsmodelle - kleines Handbuch für strategische Entscheidungen" (THE DECISION BOOK - Fifty models for strategic thinking), which uses short texts and clever drawings to guide readers through the theories and methodology of choices. This was followed by numerous other books, which have been translated into 25 languages.
A selection of the best works is available in a colorful edition: "Small books for big questions" with the titles MACHEN, ENTSCHEIDEN, REDEN, ERKENNEN, FRAGEN, ZUSAMMENARBEITEN. Their most recent book, "FAUSTREGELN - Kurze Erklärungen für komplizierte Situationen", was published in fall 2024.
Krogerus & Tschäppeler feel most at home on stage. With just a few strokes on a chalkboard, they explain the latest findings from decision-making and team research in an understandable and fun way and examine the pitfalls of modern working life that we repeatedly fall into. With their humorous and instructive keynotes, they have appeared hundreds of times, from comedy festivals to TEDx, from Atlanta to Zurich.
They write and draw a visual column for Das Magazin, the weekend supplement to Switzerland’s biggest newspapers. They present methods, models and theories that help you lead a more productive, meaningful life.
